1. Will Writing
A person wanted to write a WILL, must comply with the formalities stated in Section 5 of the Wills Act 1959, in order for the Will to be valid and effective
1. Must be at least 18 years old
2. He/She must be of sound mind
3. The Will must be in writing
4. The Will signed by Testator(Will Maker) in the presence of minimum 2 witnesses
5. These 2 Witnesses must then sign in the presence of each other and the Testator.
3. Declaration Trust
Declaration of trust is faster & provides More Options to enable and control wealth distribution as compared to a Will. A Will only distributes the wealth after the process of Estate Administration including debt payment. A Declaration of Trust, distributes wealth on a specified event, bypass assets frozen and a quick payout for the benefit of the loved ones.
4. Insurance Trust
Our Insurance Trust is ideal for you when you want a structured solution to distribute the insurance proceeds for your minor child for their education and medical needs, or to your aged old parents for their maintenance and medical needs, or even for your own benefit in case of incapacity or critical illness. In addition, you can opt to use part of the proceeds to pay your debts and provide instructions on the investments of the insurance proceeds
5. Buy Sell Trust
I need to find an exit for my shares for my family when I am not around.
A well-constructed plan is essential to protect the value of the business and provide cash for the family in the event there is a major disruption in the business due to a co-owner’s death, disability, retirement or serious major illness or any other event that jeopardizes the continuity of the business. It is a very critical thing which lots of business owners miss out while busy finding business.
7. Force Saving
We all know we should save more. Not just for emergencies, but also for our retirement, continuing education for ourselves or potential children, and to tick off the items on our bucket list. But saving money can be so boring. To that end, we figured out some helpful ways to force ourselves into saving money even when we don’t feel like it (which is most of the time)!
8. Income Protection
Income protection – the ability to ensure financial security even in the face of crises such as long-term illness and disability – plays a crucial role in our lives and that of our loved ones. Yet, the income protection gap is present in many families, who do not have financial compensation should there be a reduction/loss in household income due unexpected events. This is a global challenge. And it's rising.
As life expectancy gets longer, we face the prospect of generating and protecting our income well into our 80s and 90s. We also become the 'sandwich generation' who are responsible for bringing up our children and care for our ageing parents at the same time. While private savings as well as government-mandated funds (such as Employee Provident Fund) and social protection schemes (such as SOCSO and EIS) can help alleviate our burden during times of difficulty, would it be enough to support our loved ones for the short term like 5 years or longer term like 10 years when you need to focus in recovering physically and mentally before resume to work.We haven’t take into the consideration whether we can get back our income figure due to our incapability dealing with stress and workload.
9. Income Replacement
What is your biggest motivation to go to work every day? For most of us, it is a few people back home whom we call a family. Now, family is a powerful motivation. It can enable you to take on any storm that comes your way with a smile. All this because you would not allow a single frown on their face to ruin their mood. However, some storms come quietly. They hit us out of nowhere. We are talking about sudden accidents that caused unfortunate Income loss in a family.
What Is Your Number !
What is your Income Replacement Number which is your Risk Number?
A1. Medical Expenses
Ask anyone about which hospital offers cheaper medical treatments – between the government or private hospital – and the unanimous answer would surely be the Government/ Public Hospital. It’s not news, really, since the public healthcare in Malaysia is subsidised by the government.
But, with the cheap price tag comes a long wait. Frankly speaking, this is something to be expected as tens of thousands of the sick and injured flock the subsidised health facilities daily in an effort to save money – or simply can’t afford the more expensive alternative.Does it mean that patients need to bear
1- Larger crowd of patient
2- Longer time of getting illness treated
3- Lesser attention given to every patient
4- Treatment urgency based on priority of the seriousness of sickness
Many many more.
This is not because of the poor performance of Public Hospital but mainly because of the shortness of the frontliner compared to the numbers of patients needing attention.
Of course, for those who can afford it or have a medical insurance policy to cover their medical expenses, private hospitals tend to hold a much bigger appeal – simply because they offer better customer service and facilities yet comfort the patient with immediate attention given when needed. After all, that’s really what you’re paying for, isn’t it?
That is the main reason why a person should have a sufficient to adequate medical insurance to cover their medical expenses in a Private Hospital.
